From Reception all children stay at school for the full day and receive a thorough, broad education from experienced, qualified staff. In addition to our class teachers we have additional support teachers and this enables us to keep a high teacher pupil ratio, as well as giving flexibility in providing extra help to individual children and to small groups.
We have a specialist teacher for children who need additional academic support. Extra help may be given along side the child in the classroom or on a one to one basis in a support room. Each child is assessed to maximise the benefits of an individual programme. We offer an extensive curriculum throughout the school; |

The content of the National Curriculum Council documents has been fully incorporated into our schemes of work. The children take the Standard Assessment Tests at Key Stage 2, which are marked externally. Children are also prepared for the Kent Selection Examination at 11 and are prepared for Common Entrance or the equivalent standard entrance examination for the school of their choice.
