SCIENCE: Our aim in teaching science at Bricklehurst is to alert children to the exciting, changing world in which they live. Practical and theoretical work is done to encourage a questioning mind, an understanding of themselves and an appreciation of their environment. There are visitors and outings to places like Howletts Zoo in the pre-prep and Herstmonceaux Science Centre and The Science Museum in the prep department. Courses such as First Aid provide cross curricula links and help to develop practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for the future. > Click on subject below for an overviewARTS / CORE SUBJECTS / HUMANITIES / SPORT |
